Musical Theatre Boot Camp

Grades 2nd-4th

June 22-26 AND June 29-July 2nd 9am-3pm

Musical Theatre Bootcamp is a theatre program designed for students  1st – 4th grade. While this is a wide range of ages and abilities, the uniting feature is that of working together to put on a show.  We will work daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on lines, costumes, and all aspects of presenting a theatrical presentation. By the camps end, a small family of friends is formed!  In the past we have performed titles such as Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Treasure Island, The Little Red Hen, and Midsummer Night’s Dream.  (YES!! There are scripts written for KIDS in these titles and more!!). This summer plans are to scenes from The Wizard of Oz.  With an academic goal to further literacy and literary appreciation, the practical goal is to enable the young actors to learn to present themselves in a well planned, organized fashion.  Come join in on the fun!!!

(note: this camp ends on a Thursday due to holiday weekend)
