Spring 2020 Group Classes
Dance & Theatre Collaborative
In this class, students are taught how to develop and improve creative skills through a variety of theatrical and dance lessons. Every week students are given the opportunity to apply their imaginations so they can perform with confidence, participate collaboratively, and enhance problem-solving abilities. This class will encourage students to dance outside of the box and through varying acting and theatre exercises bring their own personality to each movement. Weekly topics covered may include retelling stories, statue, creative play, storytelling, pantomime, collaboration, and improvisation. New dance and theatre skills will be explored and become more challenging throughout the session culminating in a performance for families and friends at the end of the Spring Session. The class is open to any interested student in Grades K-2 and spaces are limited to 15 students. Registration is based on a first come first serve basis.
Using Broadway’s greatest hits, students will focus on singing and dancing in this musical theatre class. This class will culminate with a performance for friends and family that will leave students with the confidence and skills to shine in any musical theatre endeavor.
