This annual competition stopped in Covid but has been reborn in 2024 to honor Mr. Jeff Clark. Mr. Clark was a beloved vocal director at Indian Hill High School and prior to that at Fairfield High School as well as an integral part of the CAPA board. Up to $1,000 in scholarship money was awarded at the competition on Saturday, April 6 at NKU’s SOTA Greaves Concert Hall. Vocal competitors are asked to prepare and perform two memorized selections within a seven-minute timeframe: one musical theatre selection, and another of contrasting style, such as classical, pop, gospel, jazz, or an original composition. It was a wonderful day of beautiful music - congratulations to our winners an to all the students who participated. Hope to see you next year! |
