Commercial Acting Workshop – January 20, 2018
This two hour intensive will introduce children to the basics of auditioning on-camera. We will use commercial scripts as well as TV and film scripts. Each medium is unique, shot differently and requires a basic familiarity with each. We will dissect each audition and offer ways to improve. Also, we will address waiting room protocol and how to handle yourself in “the room,” if you are fortunate enough to advance to a session with producers. After all what separates actors from working actors is often nuanced and largely not always who is best actor but who comes across well before the audition ever takes place!
Date: January 20, 2018
Location: Armstrong Chapel – Indian Hill, OH
Cost: $125 NOTE: We must have a minimum of 6 students to run the workshop. Cost will go down to $99 if we have 10 students registered. Spots are limited to 10 -12 students. Reserve your spot by emailing Robin@CincinnatiAPA.org
